He's been a NYC book editor for more than 30 years. Previously an executive editor at Thomas Dunne Books, where he worked on 6 NY Times bestsellers, including a #1, he's now at Kevin Anderson & Associates, the editorial services firm where he's worked on two more Times bestsellers and five WSJ bestsellers. Books he's commissioned have won an Edgar Award and a Porchlight Award.

He went to Wesleyan for a B.A. in English and the University of Florida for his M.A. in English, doing a thesis on Blake, but concentrating mostly on Gator football.
